Conclusions
Edgar Nixon was a successful Civil Rights Activist who sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott, bailed Rosa Parks out of jail, convinced Dr. Martin Luther King to the movement, established Montgomery's branch of the Montgomery Voter's League, and ultimately led the entire movement. Nixon should be considered the father of the civil rights movement.
